· Won the Muswellbrook Art Tech Prize in 1971 which started his career in art

1980’s saw Jon completing a series of shearing , farm life as well as a series of “Out Back” paintings.
“Dame Joan Sutherland”, of which she had given her critique and approval, along with many other portraits of well known Australian performers including:- Dame Nellie Melba, Dame Joan Hammond, Eileen Joyce, Gladys Moncrieff, Winfred Atwell, Myriam Hyde Florence Austral.
Jon is represented in many Australian and overseas private collections and his major works are now highly collectable investments works of art.
2011 “The Family Heritage series”
His “Bickhan Dreaming” and indigenous art works, are finally completing his early years, along with tracing the family history.
His main aim in 2011, and the future, is to concentrate on his Aboriginal Heritage, ”Dream Time”, and to bring to life, works of art from his early years that were spent in the Australian bush and outback. In doing so, he will be creating fine works of art for the Australian and overseas collectors with Investment Portfolios.
